The unspoken truth at the toddler stage: building density of similarly-aged children matters more than amenities. A creche of three other 18-month-olds in your building beats a world-class playground with no playmates. Ask the society Secretary how many children under 4 are residents — the better-managed buildings keep this anonymised data; the rest will give you a feel.

Primary-stage Worli — ages 4-10

This is the longest stage and the one Worli is best designed for. By ages 4-10, the child is in a reputed school, attends 2-3 weekly extracurriculars, and can navigate the building independently between flat, podium, and pool. Three things matter:

This is the stage Worli is worst designed for, paradoxically. The tween wants independence — a friend's flat without a parent escort, a study lounge that is not a parent's living room, a casual hangout space that is not a kids pool. Two buildings stand out: Embassy Citadel (dedicated tween lounge with study tables, board games, an in-house tutor visiting Tuesday-Thursday) and Birla Niyaara (cinema room available for resident bookings; coding club programming).

Tower-resident peer density also matters at this stage. A child in a building with no other tweens will become socially isolated; the family will end up driving 25-40 minutes each weekend for friend visits. Teenager-stage Worli — ages 14-17
